More Info

The flag of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship is an official symbol of the Małopolska Region. The flag represents a 5:8 field with three horizontal stripes: white, gold and red, with the upper and lower stripes 2/5 each and the middle strip 1/5th of the flag. It was adopted in 1999. The colors come from the coat of arms of the Voivodeship, which consists of a white eagle with a golden crown and golden decorations on a red shield. The model of the flag is taken from the Polish flag. The flag was designed by Barbara Widłak, Wojciech Drelicharz, and Zenon Piech.
