The flag of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship is a symbol of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship of Poland. This flag is a rectangle with 5:8 proportions, divided into three horizontal stripes with proportions: 1/4:1/2:1/4, in red, white, and black. The flag was developed by Lech Tadeusz Karczewski. It was established in 2000.This flag refers to the regional coat of arms, which in the silver (i.e. white) field depicts a red half-eagle and a black half-bull under a common crown. The most important colors of the coat of arms are red, black and white. Identical colors, although in a different arrangement of three stripes of equal width, had the historical flag of the German Empire.
